MOSHI MOSHI!!

(Title is Japanese for 'Hello!' I'm far from being Japanese though!)

Hello, My name is Clai, and I am an eigth-grader at Ridgway Christian School in Pine Bluff!!! (Also, I am a girl so do not get it twisted.)

Like my other classmates, I have a question for you.

The Tungaska Event was reportedly caused by part of a comet or a comet nucleus landing to the Earth. This does not happen often as the explosion had the power of 1,000x of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, during WWII. Why is it so rare that comets hit the earth while meteroids often become meteors and sometimes meteorites too?

Go Eagles!!

hey,
howz things going?
my name is Shelby and i am working with my friend Bethany.
We are both 8th graders at Three Rivers Christian School in Mrs. Cindy's Earth Science class.
We decided to check out your question to see if we can answer it.
We looked up your question on the internet and we also googled it.
We found a lot of cool stuff about comets and meteorites but we couldn't find anything aobut why they were so rare to hit the earth. But if we find anything interesting about your question we will definitely give you notice.
We hope you have a very good Christmas and remember God loves you.
Sincerely,
Bethany and Shelby
